JANICA & SETH'S RECEPTION IN RIVERTON, UTAH-Nov. 29, 2008

                         This one speaks for itself.
I think this is supposed to be a heart with J + S in it, surrounded by Oreos.

All the while, Seth's car is being t-pd and covered with shaving cream & oreos, etc.
Ahhhhh...this is how they get the rest of the cake off of each other's faces.

smashing it into each other's mouths!
The tradition of cutting the cake and...
Here's Janica & the lovely maiden who caught the bouquet. I think she might be one of Seth's cousins. I need to find out who the mystery lady is for sure. I'm just glad it wasn't Coriann, I'm not ready for another wedding right away.
Here's Janica throwing her bouquet to the eligible young maidens. Wait, I think some of them are a bit young to be the next to get married.
Friends of Janica & Seth. Second from left, is Benton, who excitedly welcomed Jay & I when we first met him in Janica & Coriann's BYU ward. He called us Mom & Dad, & expressed to us at the reception that since he couldn't have Janica, could he now have Coriann, saying you've already got all the decorations, etc. He's a very fun individual as you can tell from the picture.
My nephew & Janica's cousins, Brent, Chris, Merlene, & Ryan Moody.

My great nephews & Janica's cousins, Robert & Derrick (sp?) Spencer (sons of Joseph & Marie Moody Spencer) enjoying the refreshements!
Here's Seth's aunt, Mindy Thompson, who also helped alot with the reception along with some of her daughters. I believe this is Mindy's grand daughter or a niece pictured with her.

Here's Veronica holding little Jayce who got left out of the nephew picture three below. Jay thinks Jayce looks alot like Uncle John, pictured below.
It was a fun surprise for us when Jay's sister, Sheryl & her husband, John Ybarguen, & their granddaughter showed up & then later some of Jay's other sisters and nieces & families came.
Cousins, Michael & Kali, playing around and dancing. Sooooo cute!
Here are six of the seven nephews of Janica & Seth. Baby Jayce was asleep. Seth's nephews wore green ties, & Janica's wore pink ties. The woman coordinated with green & pink blouses with their brown skirts & sweaters.
The cute little nieces of Janica & Seth, smiling pretty in their beautiful dresses of brown & green, with pink ribbon & flowers.
This shot is of a lot of Janica's  & Seth's good friends & college roommates.
Here's the seventeen members of Seth's family. Since I don't remember all of the children's names or how to spell them, I'll have to get some help on this later. The adults are, starting back left-Garin & Risa, Janica, Seth, Adam, Marci & Aaron Layton. Scott & Annalisa Ellsworth are sitting center front.
Here's Janica's family, all fourteen of us. Pictured front, left to right- Shanae holding Krew, Kali, Michael, Veronica holding Jayce. Back-Coriann, Aaron, Jay, Janica, Seth, Janece, Brandon & Nathan.
Here we have the bride & groom & the parents, Jay & Janece Wood on the left & Annalisa & Scott Ellsworth on the far right. Seth's brother, Adam, is to his right. For some reason, Coriann isn't in this picture...I think Jay is actually trying to call her. She should be standing next to Janica.
The wedding colors were also incorporated into the Sherbet icecream & mini soda pop cans were in a big tub to pour over these, to make a float.
We had several bowls of candies, to show the colors of pink, green, & brown. Here are the chocolate covered strawberries.
We brought some of our wonderful Country Mercantile chocalates with us from WA. Here are the Chocolate Caramel Cashews & the Chocolate Carmel covered pretzels.
Yummy sandwiches for everyone to enjoy at the reception.

This is an artificial bridal bouquet that Janica used to throw to all eligible young women (another tradition). Janica had one like this at the temple & then for this reception she had real daisies for her bouquet & a matching boutonniere for Seth. Annalisa did a great job in making all of the artificial bouquets, corsages & boutonnieres!
Seth's mother, Annalisa Ellsworth, made this beautiful wedding cake. The two bottom layers were rice crispy treats & the top layer was actually strawberry cake, I believe. They had to have cake for their 1st anniversary celebration (tradition). Brown & green ribbon are wrapped around each layer. Another enlarged picture of Seth & Janica, that we quickly developed from the wedding is on display on the cake table.
In another corner of the gym was this wedding picuture of Seth & Janica in front of the Salt Lake Temple doors, that we had enlarged from that morning.
This is the guest book table with a little candle water fountain, surrounded by daisies. The Salt Lake Temple is embroidered with 'Ellsworth Family' & the date, Nov. 29, 2008. The guest book is filled with fun dating & engagement pictures & places for people to sign on opposite pages.
This ivory & sage green quilt of the Salt Lake Temple & daisies all around, that the sisters in my ward helped me work on, was placed between the two table picture displays.
Another table display of some of Janica & Seth's favorite pictures. A very nice large bridal picture of Janica to the right & a large one to the left of Seth & Janica lovingly gazing at each other, as they walk across a bridge in Provo Canyon.
Here's one of the displaly tables with a green tablecloth covered with a brown sheer one & pink tulle winding around the pictures & computer slideshow of pictures from the wedding that morning. Little lights were spread along the tulle, a vase of daises in the corner & also a scrapbook that Janica had started of their time dating, etc.
This was the main backdrop for the bride & groom, their parents, maid of honor & best man to stand to greet the guests who came to help celebrate this happy occasion. We found some huge pink & white Gerbera daisies to add to the arch & vases on each end.
Since Janica's colors were green, pink & brown, these were used in decorating throughout. The green tablecloth is covered with a sheer brown runner & a pink ribbon down the center, with a pink bow by the heart shaped glass containers with pink lights & glass marbles holding the little pink/white daisies in place, The chairs were tied with brown bows.
This is Seth's Auntie Jan & Uncle Riner Lassig. Auntie Jan is the one who was in charge of everything for the Luncheon & Reception. She did a wonderful job! We give our heartfelt thanks to her.
These are the goldfish bowls that were used on the tables for the luncheon.
After a nice luncheon which started around 2:30-3:00, the cultural hall was transformed somewhat to accommodate for the reception from 7:00-9:00. Tables were moved to provide an area for dancing later. The goldfish centerpieces were changed to pink & white daisies in a glass heart container & balloons were added to give a cozier feeling. The next few pictures will show different tables set up for picture displays, the cake, gifts, food, guestbook, & the backdrop for greeting guests, etc.
