KALI & KREW IN OREM, UT 12/1/08

Daddy Aaron helping Krew learn to go up & down the stairs, so there weren't any major catastrophies.
Grandpa & Grandma Wood getting smiles out of Krew. Both he and Kali were suffering from dry, red rashlike skin & runny noses, because of the shock of coming from the tropical climate of Hawaii to the dry cold winters of Utah.
Kali has two differenct dress up shoes that she's trying to see if she can walk in.
Kali carrying the baby doll around with a backpack on her back. Grandma Tami is sitting at the table & Grandpa Wood is holding Krew.

Krew playing with a balloon & Kali eating ice cream with Grandpa Wood, singing a Hawaiian song & saying her favorite word, 'Metamorphisis'.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS & DECOR ON TEMPLE SQUARE IN SALT LAKE CITY-11/30/08

Aaron had to show us his HULK muscles before we left the parking garage to go back to Orem.
The view of Temple Sqare from the Conference Center. There is also a horse & buggy getting ready to go through the intersection.
This is the close up I took of the decorations of the same tree.
Tami taking some close up pictures of the lights & bulbs on this tree displayed in the foyer of the conference center.
Inside the LDS Conference Center where they are getting it decorated for the Christmas season & the special First Presidency Devotional, which will be held on Dec. 7th. You could fit a 747 jet inside of here.
The life-size nativity in front of the visitor's center. Each area on the grass was lit up as the scripture passages in the book of Luke, from the Bible, were being read about it.
Nate, Janece, Tami, & Aaron inbetween the temple & main visitor's center. The conference center to our backs.
Aaron, Jay, Nate, & Tami posing in front of the Salt Lake Temple. There was definitely a chill in the air.
The beautiful Assembly Hall, where we listened to a choir preform some traditional Christmas Carol's etc.
The shepherds watching over their flocks by night & the beautifully lit trees in the background.
This one says, 'Peace' in the Twi language of Ghana, Africa. This is where my brother, Bob, & his wife, Linda Moody are serving a mission.
This sack has 'Love' written in Chinese. We had an exchange student, Carol (Chui Yuk) Chan who we consider our Chinese daughter. Also, our daughter, Janica, went to teach English in China for four months.
This sack luminary said, 'Merry Christmas' in the Cherokee Indian language. Jay &  I both have Cherokee ancestry. These paper sacks had words written from many languages from around the world.
Many of these metal can luminaries lined the walking paths all around. They all depicted different scenes of the nativity, shepherds, wisemen, angels, etc.
Aaron Jones & his mother, Tami, in front of the temple. This is Tami's first time to visit Temple Square. She lives in Westminister, CA.
The beautiful reflection pond & nativity displayed in front of the Temple.
